Siberian Surf Groovy Dance Contest

Calling all Dancers!!!  Any age, gender, dance style, body type, etc!

Hemingway's Cat is inviting you to make a video of you or your dance troupe dancing to our new single, Siberian Surf, and enter our Groovy Dance Contest.

Winners will be included in a 'mash-up' music video, with credits, and will receive a free download of our upcoming CD.  There may be many winners.

Step 1:  Download the Siberian Surf single. It's free!  Just click the widget below.

Step 2: Make a video of you or a group of your friends dancing to Siberian Surf following these guidelines:

  • Any age, gender, dance style, setting, or body type is welcome.  Just make it awesome.
  • Your video must be 'safe for work'.  If you submit anything that's x-rated, it may be used for the enjoyment of the band, but it won't be considered for the contest.
  • The song must be audible in your video, like playing on a stereo while you record, but don't worry about sound quality.  That's our job.
  • Be creative with your dance, costume, and setting but NOT with video effects or editing.  That's also our job.
  • Allowed file formats include: avi, mpeg, mpg, & wmv.
  • Make sure you have permission from everyone who appears to be included in our video, if selected.
  • Do it BEFORE May 22, because that's the deadline.

Step 3: Sign up for a user account on the Hemingway's Cat website.  Sign up now.

Step 4: Fill out the online form to submit your entry.  You must do Step 3 before you can do Step 4. Submissions must be received by May 22.

Step 5: Share or forward this call to your friends so they can enter too.  There may be many winners so sharing will not diminish your chances. Click this button now: Share/Save
